Hi there! I don't have that many pins - I received my first pin as a gift several years ago, but only started really collecting within the past year. I pretty much go after what I like that doesn't cost too much. :D I always keep an eye out for Nightmare Before Christmas and Kim Possible (so few and hard to find!). I read about the pin trading party this weekend at Denny's, and I'm really excited about going! I'll be bringing my 14yo son and maybe his older brother. I've never been to one of these events before, and I'm a little bit nervous. Like I'll discover half my pins are scrappers, or something. :eek2: But I'm still going! Hope to meet some new people and learn some stuff about pins!

Hi Joan- I am going on Saturday too. It will be my first time at a trading event also- I would love to trade with you. I have a patriotic Nightmare before Christmas pin that I will be sure to bring for you to check out :wavey:
 
Awesome...I would just make sure that you read over the thread that talks about fakes and scrappers..that way you can avoid them at the parks with the cast members...unfortunately they don't always know what they are trading...but on a high not, whenever I point one out, they are quick to put it away so that they don't accidently trade it to a customer.
