Hi there and welcome to the forum! Being a newbie doesn't bar you from trading with members persay, rather it prevents you from posting your own trading thread/sale thread till those criteria are met. You can still upload your pinpics ID to your profile and pm members if you see a pin you like but it's up to their discretion if they want to trade with you. Hope that helps.
New to this forum. I have been out of trading for a bit, but looking to trade for some HGs or possibly unload my collection (traders and keepers). In the past, I collected: Fire, HM, Disneyland signs, attractions, Club 33, cats, bunnies, PoC, Castles, Stitch, Walt Quotes, E-Tickets, Cooking, Maleficent, Chernabog, Villains, GWP Map sets, and Working days. I primarily have older pins, LE, DA, CM with a rack scattered here and there.
I usually will use the matches link on the left to see what a particular member has that I need then see what I have that they need. If they are fairly equal pins then I just send them a PM. If I don't have any real comparables I might still send them a note as you never know unless you ask. Most of my PM's are answered here. I can't say that is the case on pinpics.
hi,,its easy to trade, you can view the "matches to..." under your ID up there and if u match someone just PM them with your offer and there u havee it! welcome
To answer your question, there generally are two ways to trade with people here on the forums. The first is to meet the minimum criteria for posting on the trade boards and then create a thread there stating that you'd like to trade (and if there is something specific you'd like to trade for/have to trade). If people are interested, they will respond to your thread, either by posting, private message, or email. The second way, as was mentioned, is to check other member's Pin Pics accounts, and if you have a potential trade match that you think might be fair, send them an email or private message proposing a trade. Sometimes people will accept, sometimes they won't, but nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Also, and there's no guaranteeing that you'll be trading with members on *this* forum, but if you want to trade, you also can send out trade requests through Pin Pics and see if you are able to make any trades that way.
