Hello there!

I stumbled upon this site looking for the soda fountain front page yesterday! Haha..

Um...I was in the Disney college program starting January and resently finished and have moved back home. I work in Day Time custodial in DCA and DTD, and tried to make pin trading super fun for all of the people that I met. I always tried to have a couple extra pins for those looking for somthing special (usually my own paid for pins or extra rare traders!) and I fell in love with the work and the pins.

I recently got my grandmother into the pin trading and made a really great friend at DLR who we visit every few weeks to talk about pins, trade or just visit.

I collect anything Lionking for myself and I look for Dumbo, NBC and Whinnie the Pooh for my grandmother, and Snow White for my friend. (Both my friend and grandmother are about 70 years old so it's easier for me to do the hunting for them!)

I hope I can make some friend here and talk about my silly hobby <3!

How Do You Do. It's good to see ya. From one newbie to another, welcome to the forum.
I think that's really cool the way you have helped out and still help your fellow pin lovers and I will keep a watchful eye for any pins that match those collections. I help my mom out as much as I can, she loves all Disney pins but Dumbo is actually one of her main characters/collections so I will check to see what she has as far as her Dumbo traders. Once again welcome and I look forward to chatting and hopefully trading with you in the future.

Hi there and welcome to the Forum fellow CP!!! I was in the WDW Spring program two years ago primarily with MK's Main Street Ops but got to work throughout all four parks and TTC. I too got into Pin Trading during my tenure there and was more then happy to do a special magical moments for guests looking for that special pin. Happy Trading and hope you enjoy yourself here!

@splash: aw thankyou! Yeah my grandma got into it because I would bring home my work lanyard and just show her them and she told me how she'd love to have a few and so since I was a cast member at the time we had a limited edition 70th Aniversary spinner for Dumbo I knew she'd love so I bought it for her and it went down hill after that! This is this pin :3


@coblj003: I tried so hard to get so much more done for pin trading while I was there, and actually alot of my ideas and somethings a friend of mine came up with are starting to go into effect at least in DCA and Downtown. Also we got a new manager and his creative focous is pin trading so we were getting alot more stuff to make it enjoyable! Especially like how we were cracking down on counterfeits. When I was in DTD alot of times my fellow cast memebers, the ones who'd been there a while, I'd give them all of my new pins for their fakes and trade them in again at the end of my shift as often as I could to get more out of circulation!

AND OH the magical memories <3 I think I spoiled toooo many people! haha...even the day I was turning in my costume and was no longer a cast member I gave away two limited edition cast member only stitch and tinker belle pins to children for those new basic lanyard set pins :3
