I'm a relative new Pin Trader. I've been an DLR annual passholder for years and one day at the park I found a pin on the ground that a cast member had mistakenly dropped. When I brought it back to the cast member they said, "just keep it." I inquired about their lanyard and they told me all about Hidden Mickey Pins and trading...etc. I spent the day trading my one pin with as many cast members as i could find, never intending to actually keep any. It was only after one or two trips of doing this one-for-one pin trading that I came across a Sorcerer Mickey Mouse pin (Pin 78339) that I just couldn't trade away. Having enjoyed the experience so much I bought a starter set and have been casually trading ever since.

Currently, I am trying to finish a Keys of the Haunted mansion collection while picking up other HM pins that I like. I had a Jiminy Cricket collection going for a bit, but then I got tired of him and have begun collecting Roger Rabbit and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit pins. I'm also a big fan of pins featuring the 'Lonesome Ghosts'.

FYI, I live VERY close to the Disney Soda Fountain and have begun making trips on surprise pin release days and bringing my finds to the park (or to ebay).
