New to pin collecting (haven't traded yet, so I don't consider myself a trader). Recently vacationed at the Disneyland Resort and bought my first 2 pins. Didn't know how pin trading worked so I didn't even bother. It was until after I got home and started researching pin trading that I'm hooked and can't wait to acquire more pins.

Interested in SW, Marvel, Pixar pins for now.

Welcome! I'm from NorCal originally (San Jose), though I live in SoCal now.

Are there any specific Pixar movies/characters you're looking to collect, or just all Pixar in general? Some Pixar movies are more expensive than others (Up is the most $$$, and Toy Story can get up in price, too. Monsters Inc., Cars, Bugs Life, and Good Dinosaur tend to run on the low side, price-wise. Most other Pixar movies are somewhere in between. I collect Inside Out, myself.)
 
Thanks for the welcome, I'm glad I found this forum. I was also able to find a few FB groups to join. As for Pixar - I'll probably start with Toy Story and Up. I really like the jumbo Pixar pin that sold at this past weekends Pixar Party at Epcot. Unfortunately, I live on the wrong coast.

All I've been doing for the last two weeks is searching on ebay for pins to buy. The fun has just begun.
 
Hello! Yes I did the exact same lol. Bought some pins that I liked but didn't quite understand how trading worked until I researched it later. I'll admit I was a bit nervous at first but I absolutely love it now, it's so much fun!!
