Hey- my name is Ryan. I'm from South Jersey and am just trying to get back into pin collecting.

I've got a collection that goes back to about 2003 with a few older ones mixed in. I don't really trade as I don't know enough about my own pins to trade with others but joined here to try to get a better grasp on everything. I know I'm a little late to the party but I've grown tired of going to the parks and seeing all kinds of pins I want and want to get started on building the collection.

Do you have any resources you recommend? I've got a trip planned for the end of September and would like to know what's going to be coming out while I'm there, when are those details usually released?

I look forward to spending some time here!

I can't point you to a specific resource, but spend enough time browsing the threads here and you'll hear all about every new release.

The Pin Guides and FAQs section is useful here. Also the Pin Comparison section. I've learned a lot.

If you haven't already heard of PinPics.com, that is like THE pin resource we all use to look up and catalogue our own pins. It also has a super-handy trade assistant, which matches up the traders you have with the pins you want from other people.
