Hi there I have lived in Florida my whole life and I, just this past weekend, discovered Disney pin trading. I bought my first pins back in March thinking they were neat, I got one for me (nightmare before Christmas) and a lanyard for my six year old son. It wasn't till this past weekend when we went to down town Disney that I found out about the trading, and then this forum. We only have six pins so far and we are looking forward to collecting more. :wavey:

Hi and welcome to the forum, be warned that pin trading is quite addictive  but a lot of fun.

Hi there! As a fellow Floridian, I will say it's a great place to trade. Check your local Disney store from time to time to see if they have any pin events. (That's one of the ways I really got started.) I hope you have a great time trading!

I did not know about the Disney store pin events I will have to check it out. I always go in when I'm at the mall but have never seen a pin there or heard of pin trading, that's why I was shocked that I have never heard of pin trading.

Hi and welcome to DPF, Krystel81! I'm new here myself (just joined last week), and just got into pin collecting during Star Wars Weekends this year, and have really only traded with some cast members. But I'm really enjoying the pins alot, and I can't even begin to mention just how many great people I've met at the parks (both CMs and guests) that pins were the icebreaker for making new friends. It's a pretty fun, addictive hobby.
