Not my listing first off and I won't link it but there is (in my opinion) one of the if not THE most beautiful pin Disney has ever made sitting on ebay right now, been up all week long and does not have a single bid. Yes, the price is HIGH but not so much in comparison to what I have seen many other pins selling for recently including Marquee's, Beloved Tales, PODM's, R/C's and others. Yes, those are what is popular right now but I don't think any of those pins even hold a candle to the beauty of some of the Gomes and other old auction pins. At what point did the DA pins become so "not wanted" in place of the DSF and park stuff?

This is the pin I am talking about, by the way.



I have owned this pin twice. I made the mistake of parting with it once before and got it back luckily and could not imagine letting it go again and certainly not at the price on the bay right now. I have watched it all wee thinking it would EASILY hit over $1,000 with what some other htf pins are selling for lately and just the rarity of this one but to see it sit at $599 with no bids? I am just shocked, really. Is it just me?? LOL I just keep thinking of how I would choose this pin over a Rapunzel r/c or ANY marquee every day of the week. :rofl:
 
I agree with you Amanda, but have come to realize that what was popular before may not be today. I would love to obtain it, but it is well beyond what I would consider paying at this time.
 
maybe people realize that WE ARE IN A RECESSION and the damn kids wanna eat EVERYDAY and gas is $4 a gallon and every utility bill just went up again...oh and the car needs repair....

i could have that sleeping beauty pin if my kid didnt need a car...just spent $1900!
 
You guys are too funny! Trust me, it is out of my price range for sure but just looking at what has been spent on certain pins lately while browsing ebay has blown my mind...then to see this beauty sitting there with no bids. I was just shocked!
 
I totally agree Amanda. I think people, especially new collectors, get so caught up in the hype of the hot pins right now, that this little beauty is getting overlooked. Its a shame but a longtime collector may get a really good deal if they're lucky!
 
Its Marisa all time favorite pin. We are extremely shocked no one has bid. Hey, maybe someone will this time! It honestly is an amazing pin. Very heavy and stunning.

I agree with you. Even the pictures of this pin pretty much blow any tangled pin I've seen out of the water. The artwork is stunning.

Really? I mean, sure, I can't afford the price tag on it but comparing it to any of the highest marquee pins or R/C pins at the prices they are bringing lately?? Even seen several Beloved Tales getting way up there in price... this pin surpasses ANY of those any day of the week IN MY OPINION...lol It is huge and gorgeous!! Do you think those others are worth the price tags they are bringing in?
 
It's worth it! I've actually seen it in person, I don't collect SB but its a beautiful pin the detail and quality is amazing! They just don't make pins like that anymore! wish I could afford it, that would be one amazing auction here!! :naughty:
 
This is the most beautiful pin Disney has ever made, IMHO. Yes, I saw the listing and yes, I think it's totally worth the price. I just don't have the 600+ dollars right now and it's literally a pain in my heart when I think about it. I don't even collect SB, but I want this pin like a fat kid wants cake. I just have to tell myself that when it's right for me to have it, it will come to me again. :cry:
