You are taking this too personal. I asked I did not assume. You are apologizing to others on this thread but are getting upset with me for asking a question? That's why I ASKED. and didn't say that is what you are doing.

Well the pin sold so this thread really has no use anymore as it is inciting flames.

I am not sure how I could not take that personal?? I mean, why ask a question about something being self serving if not to come across as rude?

Not a big deal to me either way, the questions just came across as pretty snarky.

Let me first say I seldom even look at EBay these days so my opinion may not mean too much here. I understand wanting to keep an auction on the "down low" especially when it is listed incorrectly. I remember being there many times when I could afford to buy a lot of pins. I also see this as a good source of information not only for a newer trader/collector but for that person who this might have been a grail for that had not seen it. I LOVE this pin and I do not have it! I wish I could have bid on it! Gomes pins are GREAT in my opinion and I love Aurora in blue or as Briar Rose pins. I saw nothing wrong with this being on the discussion forum. (At first I thought it was about an auction on this site and that is why I looked at it). The person that posted this meant nothing more than to create a discussion about this particular pin and the prices of some older pins going down. I appreciated the discussion on it as well. I have a pin in my collection that was solidly at $450 to $500 that I am now seeing at $299. I am hoping it is because of the economy and it will rebound but this discussion on the value of pins is worth having in my opinion. Thanks for the posting.

I don't think Amanda did this for any personal reasons or trying to hurt anyones chances. It actually seemed like a good discussion that turned bad. It is sad to see these older pins being over looked for New Tangeled Marquees were Flynn's face is anything but pretty. lol Now I do have some Tangeled pins on my wants so I am not above the hype. I just see what she was trying to say. I wish I collected back when these higher quality pins were offered.

I know Amanda didn't mean to, but still my first reaction to reading the thread was that someone, somewhere was having this reaction. And I made a comment about it.

So did anyone here win?

Hahahahahahahahahaha this.

just do like I do when someone wins an auction on ebay. I wanted. I secretly wish they get stuck with it when they open it in the mail. (insert evil laugh)
