Hey all, my name is Debbie and I live in Madison, WI. I'm 57 (58 in May), but I don't act my age :roll: I work for a private insurance company, credentialing medical providers. In my spare time I love hanging out with my hubby, playing frisbee with our Border Collie, Belle, and, of course, watching the Badgers :wavey:

Outside of pins, I collect Disney limited edition dolls (although I am cutting down my collection of pins and dolls this year). I used to have a Disneyland AP, but haven't been in 2.5 years. However, I am going to WDW later this year!

I letterbox, quilt (not lately though), Scuba dive, and have been known to parktake in shooting sports. I also have been seen on my mountain bike on the trails around here as well as plopping slowly in running shoes, pretending to be a marathoner. I'm heavily into fragrance/perfumes from cheap to stuff that will make you question my sanity.
 
Hi Everyone! My name is Debbie. I am probably one of the oldest on the forum at 60 years young. I will be 61 in June.
I am a retired school teacher. I taught Pre K, was an afternoon School Supervisor and for a brief time a director for a child care center.
I am now semi retired. I am a lunchroom aide for pre K and I sub as needed.
I have an adorable 7 year old grand daughter that lights up my world.
I reside in NJ. I'm married and we have a 37 year old son that we can't get rid of. LOL
I collect Beauty And The Beast pins and most recently I have started collecting Marie from the Aristocats. I do collect LÊ Disney Dolls. Although I do not collect them all. Just the ones I like.
We are visiting a friend which lives in FL and will stop by Epcot for the Flower & Garden Show the 10th of May.

I'm 36 and Mom-ming is my job. (My degree is in education.)

Other than collecting pins and being a Disney nerd, I collect children's books.

I'm also a Crafter which is just a fancy way to say, "I make stuff." I knit, crochet, sew, carve stamps, embroider, build things and love to create.

I'm also a novice runner.

job- stay home mom , of one very special needs son named Robbie he has epilepsy and learning disabilities he's in my picture in my profile with scoop ,he's 23,I have a older son Andy whos 26 ...he has cerebral palsy in his hands and back ,
hes a wonderful young man ,I could not ask for better sons !!My past jobs are : working for the best pizza place ever in Indiana albanos villa ,was there 8 years until I met my hubby who is my signature picture ,only knew each other 4 months and in 1987 the year I met him in July of that year ,we got married November 14th ,1987 will be married a wondeful 30 years ,I will tell you all ,I love this man with all my heart !! he's been with me for the worst thing that could possibly happen to me ,I had skin cancer in late 2008 ,I had surgery for 4 hours ,I have a 10 inch scar on my right leg by my knee ,the lymthnodes were removed there was 2 ,if they would of came back positive ,I would only have 6 months to live ,as you see I survived it ,but I still see a cancer specialist every 6 months ,and a skin Doctor as well.

pearlverts unite ,I am a administrater there ,just opened it ,also a member of pearlverts night out ,it's a live video feed of a wonderful young lady name Nikki and her husband josh ,they opened oysters that you purchase from their on site shop and they open them live ,I have a few here and have more coming ,I have more coming wed night when they have another live feed ,it's actually a lot of fun and they have a great following too ,when there is nothing on tv ,I watch them

My name is Savannah, I'm 31 (will be 32 in May), married to the love of my life for 10 years, we have no kids but 4 female feline fur babies (I also love alliteration and run on sentences). Hubby is completely blind but he can do anything I can do... except drive. I mean... I guess he could....

I live in Oz... aka Kansas, USA. Right smack in the middle of the country.

My hobbies include cross stitching, making dollhouse miniatures, recreating nutcrackers, singing in church choir, and general crafting.

I used to be a ventriloquist and puppeteer (hence the name ventchick) and did clowning for various church groups and nursing homes. I, like Sara, can make balloon animals. I still practice my "craft".
I also speak Spanish.

I don't work, due to severe "anxiety and panic disorder".

I'm Christine - just turned 49 (Yikes! - I don't like typing that). Married mom of two boys - 19 and 12.

*I'm in a small suburb West of Cleveland, Ohio.

*I was a special education teacher for multiple handicapped children. If all I did was work with the kids all day, I'd never leave that job, no matter the pay. But that is not reality and teaching is more testing and B.S. that I could not stomach anymore - plus with still paying on my Masters, I couldn't afford to be a teacher. I now get paid really well as a corporate trainer. I miss the kids. I am currently trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up (I better hurry up before I retire - LOL).

Besides pin collecting, I love reading and photography. I'd love to travel more but those student loans aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

This is a great idea! I know people are usually kinda wary about sharing too much personal info about themselves online, but it's nice to get to know people like this!

Well, I'm Erin, and I'll just say I'm in my 20s. I'm currently a grad student, studying mechanical engineering with an emphasis in control systems. My goal is to work for WDI; if not that, then NASA I live in the greater Los Angeles county and will be interning for a defense contractor this summer.

When not thinking about pins, I like to craft (mainly crocheting, but also cross-stitching, stamp carving, knitting, scrapbooking). I also like to go geocaching and letterboxing but haven't done either much lately cuz of school. Honestly though, I just started pin trading/ collecting like a few months and it just engulfed me. All I do is browse this forum, check PinPics and facebook groups, dream about trades, and go to DSF. I need to chill out! haha

Hello everybody! I'm Lucy, mom of 4 ages 7-17. My oldest is going to college in the fall...:anxious: Who am I kidding, 1 down 3 to go! :hsd:

I'm a stay at home mom, degree in criminal justice. I always wanted to be James Bond, or Jane in my case but I think that ship has now sailed. Now that my youngest is in school I'm struggling with what to do now that I have to grow up and work.

Pins is a newer addiction of mine but collecting Disney has been a part of me since childhood. Anything from figurines, snowglobes, beanies, Tsum Tsums, mugs, dolls...you name it. I also collect Barbie, Fashion Royalty, Monster High, Ever After High, Harry Potter, Superhero and Star Wars Figures like Kotobukiya, Star Ace, Gentle Giant. I also have a Bandai Funko SuperMario collection which I would love to display to look like the video game. Pretty much anything cool I like. lol A designated doll room has turned into a storage room now because of the ridiculousness of it, my hubby calls me a hoarder.

I love to read mystery/detective stories and am currently trying to finish all Agatha Christie books. I'm binge watching Supernatural with my kids and Doctor Who. Can't binge watch Sherlock since the episodes don't come out fast enough for me to have something to binge on...yes that is a complaint. I'm hooked on English shows as well.

Oh yes, I live in Champaign, Home of the Fighting Illini, University of Illinois.
 
Alright, I said I'd be back, so here I am!

I'm Emily, age undisclosed, a student studying zoology.

The majority of my time I spend reading (mostly academic work as of late), but I also love doing artsy things (knitting, crocheting, lots of baking, painting, etc.) and I've recently gotten into scientific illustration. I also enjoy the casual game of Mario Kart and have been really enjoying the new Zelda game.

It's been great getting to know everyone! Great thread idea. :bigthumb:
 
Savannah (Ventchick) - I started recreating nutcrackers too. I found one at a garage sale that needed some paint touch ups. So I repainted it and then started adding bling to it. I was planning on getting some unfinished ones and designing them myself - even went as far as looking for them online - but then life got in the way. Maybe I will start that up again.

I live in the Bay Area and have lived in the Norcal area since birth.
I am a corporate real estate agent who works on the development side.
My hobbies are cooking, playing tennis, traveling, and brunching with girlfriends. Some of my interests are sports(SF Giants, UCLA gymnastics, All Blacks rugby), fashion(especially shoes), and cephalopods. Other things I collect are old books(especially ones about the ocean or Chas Addams) and pretty makeup items(my favorite is Chantecaille).

am female and retired from banking
I love sewing, quilting, scrap booking, making cards, putting my pins in shadow boxes
I help out at our county fair in charge of the Arts and Crafts department, working on the Fair scrap book and entering it in the state wide competition( have won a few firsts and a few seconds)
Also do Bingo at the local Nursing home once a month
after this past year have changed my thinking live and do what you can when you can before it is to late
