I am very new to pin trading. Can anyone help me out. I just got scammed big time on ebay buying a bunch of scrappers. Is there any way to get a number of authentic pins at one time?

Welcome to the DPF! If you are looking for random open edition/hidden Mickey pins, I have grab bags 6 pins for $10 or you can choose from my $2-$4 each pin board.

Welcome and bem-vindo (I'm assuming from your last name that you're Portuguese - but correct me if I'm wrong)...are you set up on Pinpics yet?

I'm Portuguese but I was born and grew up here in Canada.
Pinpics can help you set up trades for the pins you want. It's also a great resource for identifying pins and for keeping a list of your pins.
You can start by registering on the site and finding pins using the search function - when you get to the page for a specific pin, you have the option to add it to your 'owns' list, 'trades' list, or 'wants' list. Looking through some of the pin groups can also help you find pins you 'want'. (n.b. don't go 'back' in your web browser after you add a pin to your 'owns' 'trades' or 'wants' list - on some computers this will cancel out what you just did...I discovered this the hard way!)
Under 'My Pin Pics' you can set up trade requests, review your own lists, and compare your trades/wants to other users to find 'matches'
If you have any trouble, feel free to post here or message me.

Hello and welcome! There are a whole lot of "sticky" threads at the top of each forum section which contain a lot of useful information, both on pin trading in general and on this forum's features specifically. They really helped me out a lot when I was new here!
