Question. Notice the back of my pin does not have a mickey stamp. Is that known for this specific pin or is this yet another fake?
I wish people would get finned who are found selling fake pins so it would stop some the fakers! I didn't buy this one though, I traded for it in the wdw park about 2 years ago.

Not much at all that's what threw me off. But I believe it probably is since it has no mickey symbol other than @Disney on the back. It is in all caps and most of my pins are @Disney without all caps. It saddens me that there are so many fakes that look so real.

Well there's a pin like it on pinpics here's the number for it
Pin 10340: 12 Months of Magic - Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree
My pin like the 10340 is packed away otherwise I would look,I actually do not think there was a Mickey back stamp back then, maybe someone can post for sure

older pins do not have the mickeys running off the edges of the pin.

Does it have anything that mentions copyright to A.A.Milne (?) Although I think that is for recent pins too. I have some older pins from the early 2000s that are Pooh based, let me check when I get home if they have anything.

For a 2002 pin, the sand cast/pebble back finish was really common. This was prior to any waffle patterns or official pin trading stamps. To me, from the photos, everything looks good on the colors on the front and the gold color of the back. It should also feel rather weighty and solid. In my opinion, without actually closely examining it, it appears to be a good one.

It does have weight! I have had fakes that were obvious. But thankfully all the pins I own now are all 100% real. I just wasn't sure with the non mickey stamp. Thanks all for the info!

I actually have a few older pins, and they dont have the stamp on the back either! It raised my eyebrows, but I confirmed them to be authentic! Now, if the edges were sharp or the weight were off, that would be a different story. but from the pictures, they seem to be ok!
