Hi, I was very pleased to be able to add this to my Pinocchio collection this week, the person I acquired it from, referred to it as a "pocket pin". Its one of those Disney Sea prizes, it doesnt have a pin post but a clip, which I can see would be great for attaching to the top of a pocket. So my questions are, is this still regarded as a pin, in the absence of a pin post? And is Pocket Pin the correct description, or is it known as something else? Thanks for any input you can provide!!

Looks like a money clip. I wouldn't call that a pin.

But if you did wear it at least it wouldn't put a hole in your clothes. lol #pinproblems

Ah yes, thats a good use for it! I was going to list it on Pinpics as an assessory, so I can add it to my collection list, I just wanted to be sure I was describing it correctly! Thanks!

haha! yes, I never wear pins on my clothes for that exact reason!

Hi Mattspins, sorry no, I specifically got it for my collection, but there is one on a well know auction site at the moment.

I would classify it as an accessory since it looks like a clip to me. It is very cute. Is it from the 90s? It doesn't look like any of the pins from the 2000s.

That's really cute! I had never heard of JDS giving out clips instead of pins as consolation prizes!

There's no date on the pin or the packaging, I'd say from the 2000s, rather than the 90s, it certainly looks more modern, like the more recent pins.
