Lost my first pin auction

Lost an auction for one of my favorites tonight. I have no idea how much it usually costs to buy or how often it comes up but it got over my limit so I had to let it go. Not fun. What's worse is that I cleared out a few other little pins today that I didn't really need so that I wouldn't have any excuse not to bid up to my limit on the biggie. So now I have no favorite, and no little ones either. Not happy.

To console myself, I think I'm going to look for something else to be my new favorite pin :bigthumb:

Ahh I am sorry! It is a big blow to the gut when you lose a pin you really want, but sometimes you gotta let them go. I am sometimes happy that I lose auctions cause I would have no money left at all if I won all the auctions i wanted! Lol but keep looking on ebay because who knows you may find one cheaper! Don't give up!

Thanks, it was the Mary Poppins bag and umbrella in my sig pic. There are a couple others listed now, but they're almost double what this one went for. I had been watching it pretty much all week and was waiting for it so it was pretty sad when I had to let it go. But maybe someone here won it. That wouldn't make it quite so bad. I'm sure I'll lose plenty more auctions in the future, but this one stung. Fortunately, I got a few pins from a member here on the way and got in on the PIF so that helps. I may have lost my first pin auction, but I've got my first pin packages on the way!! :wiggle:

I buy a lot on eBay, though I usually go for Buy it Nows unless its something I really want of course. I've lost a few auctions recently; for a couple pins I've been after for a while too... ah I do wonder when I'll manage to get those pins. I've also won a few... its just what eBay is like. But anyhow I wish you luck with any more auctions!
