The last two to three months, I have noticed an influx of new Disney pin collectors at the Tuesday releases, as well as at the trading tables. And just around the park in general. I've also heard from a friend at Disney World that they are having the same.

And DPF has welcomed a few new members recently. It's great to see our community growing!

I've been wondering other than all of the new pins that have released, and a number of new passes being sold, what has triggered this influx? Which is good don't misunderstand me.

I was chatting with a pin friend today, and he mentioned to me that apparently tic toc has been a buzz about the hobby and Disney pins as of late, which is probably another reason towards the new wave of collectors?

Anyway, it's been on my mind. And after my chat this morning, thought I'd share my thoughts.

Has anyone else noticed this trend?

I'm not big on social media, but Tik Tok is where I learned about pins. Trading I more learned from Pin & Pop, which led me here.

My bug guy is who first told me about collecting pins and how they could be valuable. But not living near a park I never really knew enough and often just bought rack pins as souvenirs bc they are cute, not realizing how many gorgeous ones existed in the world. Then I found a mystery bag with Abu (Pixie Plush) and I was done for.

Grateful to be here now and have so much appreciation for folks like you who help get these little pieces of metal into all our hands.
