They’re nice looking in person, and all hard enamel (my personal preference). I’m happy with my purchase!

There is one problem though…



It seems my new kitty likes pins too! She kept trying to bite and run with them.
I’ll have to be extra careful with my pin mail in the future!

Great week for pin mail!!

First, I had a trade with @tiffychann. Thank you for the trade! I particularly love beast getting a haircut. His face cracks me up!
also the event pin is really nice in person AND box is very pretty. I’m gonna hang it up as an ornament on my tree




Next, I won an auction for this Disney Auctions dumbo pin! Shipped all the way from Canada




Finally, I had a trade with @summerskin for one of my first/ earliest grails, the BatB Disney auctions spinner, as well as dumbo boba (dumboba!). The spinner is even more impressive in real life. I had only seen pics when I first got into pins and couldn’t afford the one that was being sold on DPF. It’s huge and gorgeous and I’m shook!
dumbo is super cute AND Amanda included a Belle book zap! After we traded, I was like wait.. how did I miss that one? So thank you for including it!! As well as all the little extra goodies!!

Well, I still can't post in the Zap thread for some reason, so it'll have to go here.

THE GOLDEN MICKEY ZAPPER HAS STRUCK AGAIN! THIS TIME FROM THE SEA!!

As some of you may know, I've been hunting sea monsters. That's right, I caught the Luca bug! Probably harder than most, hahah! I'm basically set now, and once one more piece shows up, I'll post my haul.

You may recall some time ago, @nateeter gave me a great trade deal on the Luca marquee.

AND THEN THIS SHOWS UP!



All of the BoxLunch Luca pins!? The ones I wanted but couldn't justify buying because I'm paying school fees at the moment?! The Ones That Are Just So Darn Adorable I Can Hardly Stand It? THESE ONES!!??!

And then. The Golden Mickey Zapper's trademark..... THE NOTE




HOW. DID. THEY. KNOW.

How did they know my marquee was lonely? Had they heard it crying? I had only just posted about the marquee!

There's a connection here..... A connection between the marquee. And the Golden Mickey Zapper. And I'm about bust this case wide open.

Ooof. I haven’t posted my pinmail here in a while but I’ve had a couple trades with other DPF members here so I have to share.


First, @watzshakinbacon helped me get 3 of the Mulan DEC pins.


Second, @Addicted to Alice Pins helped me get the last one I needed from the 55th Anniversary DisneyShopping set. I know I’m technically missing one that has the Queen of Hearts, but it’s no secret I only do Alice pins as long as Alice is on them (speaking of which, I was somewhat disappointed that Alice wasn’t on any of the new DEC pins that just came out).





EDIT: how could I forget she zapped me too?

I’ve received quite a bit of pin mail - some trades and some purchases.

My sister went to South Carolina around the 4th and she managed to find a Disney Store. She brought me this nice BatB journal and some pins from my wants.


I made a trade with [mention]LittleBird [/mention] for the FigPin Tiana (which I love!) and the two Mulan pins. I got two of the three DEC pins I wanted from the Father’s Day release. The pins are really nice. The decorative frames really make the pins super appealing to me.


I got the Turtle pin from the IaSW anniversary set. I’m down to needing just one more pin - the penguins! The Hidden Mickey pins help out with a few older sets. The Emblems complete the set for me. I wanted two of each so I could show both sides. Rapunzel is for my niece.

Oh man! I wish I had some of your wants to trade for the AiW pins but doesn't look like we have any matches. I'm sure you'll get great pins for them. Congrats!
 
The emblems are really gorgeous on both sides. Congrats on all the great pins!
 
Well we drove down to Austin last week and MIL rented a lake house for the family.



We went to a winery, and distillery, rode in a hearse on a Haunted Austin tour, and of course, checked the San Marcos outlet for pins (no cruisers
).

Between what I got there, and the packages waiting for me when I got home, I had quite a haul last week… including a fun Wishables trade with @brattyjedi and an above and beyond trade package from @summerskin …
