I have a lot of older pins from 2000 and notice that none of them have the cute Mickey rubber pin backs, but any of the pins I've bought in recent years have had them. When did it become the norm for all Disney pins to have a rubber Mickey back?

I don't know when, but I know when I was a kid, som pins had rubber backs, but some had metal pinch lock backs.

Random memory of looking through pins at a WDW store in the late 80's, as a kid on vacation.
