MNSSHP @ WDW Pin Question

New to the site so apologies in advance if I ask a question that has been addressed elsewhere. I did a search but didn't find a similar question.

We attended our first MNSSHP @ WDW last year, and the first thing we did was go to the Emporium to buy the pin featured on the MNSSHP map / brochure for my son who had just gotten into pin collecting / trading. We were told that the pins wouldn't be available until 7, so we waited. When 7 rolled around, the only pins that were available were the MNSSHP "mystery pins". After spending 15-20 minutes as cast members asked other cast members, we were told that they must be "sold out". We're going to attend MNSSHP on 10/13 so I'd like to be prepared.

Here is my question: Is there an official MNSSHP pin that is not part of the "mystery pin" collection? Is the one that is shown on the MNSSHP brochure part of the mystery pins? If there is a pin that's not part of the mystery collection, do those sell out at the beginning of the MNSSHP events such that guests attending MNSSHP in mid to late October are out of luck? Or, do they have a certain amount for sale each night of MNSSHP?

My son was bummed last year that he didn't get the MNSSHP pin, and I felt like I wasted too much time trying to find one. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

There was a Donald Surprise pin released on the first MNSSHP (Labor Day) and it sold out already. It was limited edition 1000

There are 3 additional main pins. Mickey/Minnie (limited release), Captain Hook (limited edition 4500), Chip/Dale/Clarice (limited edition 4500).
There is also an MNSSHP Stitch pin that is only available to Annual Passholders. I think it was LE 2500.
There is also a mystery set of MNSSHP pins that are available.
There were also a couple sets. A framed set that included one or two additional pins LE 300???. There is also a boxed set that included an Headless Horseman pin.

The pins are being sold at Emporium and also the Frontierland trading post. I believe the framed and box sets are only available at Frontierland trading post.

The pins are available until they sell out. They are only sold during MNSSHP nights.

We have extras of the MNSSHP pins. If you would like, send me a private message. If you will be around a few days after the 13th and can't get the MNSSHP you would like, we would be happy to trade for one of the pins coming out 10/16.

Also, we arrived at the Frontierland Trading Post prior to 7PM, and the pins were already out on the racks. If you had your party wristband, you could buy them even though the party had not "officially" started yet.

Good catch. Yes, Maleficent is LE 5000.
