New DSF Pin Trader's Delight pin; what's going on?!

The stitch with star finally sold out, now they have Jack Skellington with a star. What happened to the sundae pins? Why aren't they bringing out pins with characters holding ice cream?
 
Their shipment got delayed so they have to give out pins that they were going to use as surprise releases until the shipment comes in
 
Sometimes they will do this when the 'regular' Pin Trader's Delight pins have sold out but they haven't gotten their shipment of the next Pin Trader's Delight pins yet. My guess is that they offer another pin that they have in store with the sundae as an alternative to selling the sendae without a pin at all.
