This is my first forum site that I have joined, and I'm very excited to be a part of the pin trading family. I took my daughter on a surprise trip to Disneyland last May, just the 2 of us. She had no idea this was coming. We spend 4 days in the park (Mom and her brother where very jealous) and had a great time. On the 3rd day I was talking to a cast member and she asked us if we did any pin trading. We had no idea that we could do this so we decided to try in and became totally and completely hooked on it. We are planning a trip this October with the entire family and my daughter and I can't wait to get back to pin trading. We also already got Mom and brother into it. Anyway that's my pin trading story and I'm looking forward reading and chatting with other pin trading enthusiast in the months to come.

Also I like to collect anything "PIRATE" related when it comes to pins and this is what I would consider my "Holy Grail"

Welcome! My family got hooked on Disney pins almost the same way. We had no idea what was going on when we got there, and by the time we left we all had full lanyards and were trying to figure out how to get more. It's a lot of fun and something we can all enjoy together. My husband has gone for the pirate pins and was lucky enough to find a few last week to start his Star Wars and pirates collection so maybe we'll be doing a little trading in the future. Welcome, I am new around here as well, got hooked just like you. My 13 yo daughter and I started and now my husband, son, and 17 year old daughter are into pin trading. I think you will also enjoy PDF, everyone here is so nice and helpful. Just wanted to stop by and say hello and welcome. I live 2.5 hrs away from WDW, going to buy season passes, so please let us know if we can help you find anything. Our next trip is this week wednesday. I am so excited, can't wait. I wish we could just stay there for a few days, instead we always come back the same day.
