New to Pin Trading and about to go in DLRP...

Hello everybody,

I'm Hiddenmax from Italy. I I'm "new" to pintrading (I just traded open vs open with CM in DLRP in the past few years and I have no LE) and I've never been to WDW or DLR but 7 times in DLRP and 3 times in Tokyo DL. So I just didn't know how many beautiful pins you guys have in the U.S.A. before landing here (I was just looking for "disney pin forum" in google LOL)

I'm now "Pin Hooked" and I'm going to DLRP to celebrate my 31st birthday in less than 2 weeks time! So excited :anxious:

I've already bought 15-20 OE traders (brand new American parks booster sets from ebay or evilbay as you guys call it, they go 2-3 € a pin, in paris OE starts from 7€ ...) because I just wanted to trade some nice OE in Paris with CM...

... but now I see we have in Paris some nice OE pins you might like to trade with.

So, as a suggestion, which OE pins should I buy/trade to make good trades with you guys from USA? Maybe even for a couple nice LE?

I would welcomebyou in Italian but my spelling is horrendous your English seems amazing so please don't worry! For traders yes I would say anything rapunzel, brave, any princesses, villains, maybe castles, stitch, anything pretty . I hope you have fun!!

Almost any limited edition from Paris will be tradable for something here in the states. They don't make many bad LE pins over there. Princesses, Tinker Bell, Stitch, Phantom Manor, etc. are all collectible. I haven't seen a picture of a real DLP pin rack so if you can, take a pic of the actual pins for sale and post it here for us to see!

Benvenuto! (and that is almost the limit of my Italian) Your English is wonderful so you shouldn't have any problems, but if you do get stuck on something feel free to PM (private message) me - my husband is fluent in Italian.

If you want to trade, get as many cast lanyard Pascal's as you can...everyone seems to want one! (me included)

Hey there! Nice to meet you! This site should be a big help for you, it's helped me out a lot already. I just joined a few days ago also.

Paris Tangled pins are really popular right now, especially because evilbay jacks up the prices.

I would trade you for the Tangled hand bag, or the booster set. Let me know if you like anything in my "trades" or if you would like anything from WDW I am going in a few weeks! Thanks!

Thanks everybody for welcoming me in such a "disneymagic" way.

I just want to point out that I'm going to DLP on 9/30 and I doubt I can grab any Limited Edition in stores, that's why I'm open to suggestions to which OPEN EDITION pins to trade / buy in the park to make good trades here in DPF. I have a mission: trade as many CM Pascal as possible (And after saying this I'm 99% sure that I'll leave the parks with no Pascal at all, I'm very lucky :facepalm

Maybe there will be some LE leftover from the latest release... but those are not that good IMHO

I don't like the train, I only like the halloween 2012 Pin, maybe the cheshire.. but somehow I doubt they will make good trades, they'll be wonderful souvenirs, that's for sure.

Welcome to the forum.

As a rule, I love pins from Disneyland Paris, so I'd love to trade with you sometime! As other people above me have said, limited edition pins are great traders, as are anything featuring popular characters like Merida, Rapunzel, Jessica Rabbit, or Stitch. But everyone's different - Personally, I love anything featuring Figaro, Lady and the Tramp, 101 Dalmatians, Peter Pan, Sword in the Stone, or Robin Hood. I'm a big fan of cast lanyard pins from Paris because they seem to be bigger and nicer than the ones here in the states.

Well I'm going to buy extras for sure but I just checked shipping costs from here to the US and it's crazy expensive

I think I will buy just for trading with you guys no more than 2-3 rapunzel sets, 2-3 rapunzel open edition, 1-2 sets of framed princesses and 1-2 sets of bags.
