Hi, my name is Kay and my first trip to Disneyland was in 1957. I have been hooked ever since. I have collected pins for some time but never got into pin trading until our trip to the park last week....what a blast! The people were so great and all such die hard Disney fans. I am hooked. DVC membership definitely helps with the new Villas open.

I am 63 years old and have never been on a forum before so I'm on a learning curve here.....my question is, does anyone know of any local pin trading events in the Sacramento area (within an hour's drive)? I enjoyed it so much at Disneyland but can only get down there once or twice a year and would love to meet with others in between times. I also collect stuff from the very early days of the park (1955-1964) like postcards, maps, guidebooks etc. I have been told that my home is decorated in "Early Disneyland".

Hi Kay and welcome to the forum. For the record, I am 42 (almost) but we are mostly Disney loving kids here :)

I live in Austin, TX but as far as I know there are meetings in the Northern/Central CA region. I am hoping for one sometime in March as I might foloow hubby on a business trip to Sunnyvale, CA myself.

Welcome.... As Vikki said we are having an event in Tracy next month... Keep your eyes on the boards... The other members here are AMAZING at planning events up here in NorCal.. :) Hopefully we will see you at an event soon! :)
