Granted ... I'm new, but I haven't seen any mention of this. I have two princess glitter dress pins (Pin 67386 and Pin 67606) and they both have the same number stamped on the back in black. They came from two different sources, which makes it even stranger. One of them had a backer card with the same number on it, and this number doesn't match any of the SKUs listed on pinpics.

Everything else about the pins looks 100% legit to my untrained eye, but this is weird. No borders on the pattern in the back, thick metal, no brush stokes, good color, etc.

Here are some pics if it helps (or hurts)

(sorry, bout the quality ... my T2i got yanked out of my trunk last week and I'm resorting to the office camera for now)

eather all the pins in that set have the same number so u know its a true set... or maybe all the pins from all sets are the same just to show they are real. but thay look good and i think u are ok. I have seen sum numbers on a few of the newer pins.

Those numbers match the code on the back of the card the pin would have originally come on and the code that pops up on the screen when it is scanned at the register. They show up mostly on pins you buy at a park or store at an actual cash register rather than online. Too many people were buying an expensive pin and a cheap pin, then putting the cheap pin on the expensive card and returning it (=expensive pin for price of the cheaper pin). Its a way for cast members to double check returns and a way for us to know they are real ^_^

Edit: The numbers are the same because they come on the same card and use the same code/readout; something like gltr prnss pin (would have to scan one at DLR to get the exact wording).
