Hello all!

An overdue intro...

I'm Michelle, and I'm a new pin-a-holic....(I think this is the wrong place for help with that problem though) :)

DS and I have been park trading our last couple trips, and have just recently discovered all the LE, DSF, etc pin maddness, which I am joining in on - love seeing so many beautiful pins.

For now I am trying to primarily collect Bolt and horses (mostly horse characters, or such as princesses with their horses vs and random horse), though i keep seeing so many others I like.

Best trade so far:

I got this pin

at Star wars weekend from a jawa.* Instead of just showing the pocket junk, we really tried to "sell" the stuff.

A "Liquid storage unit containment device" (bottlecap)
B ship building parts (a couple small legos)
C multi purpose attachment device (key jump ring)
D a coated wire (bread tie - why that was in my pocket I have no idea)

Its a scrapper (the "T" in Walt is not colored in); I still think I got the best of that deal,

Still experimenting with the various sites to see which to use to set up wish, trade, collection lists.....

Thanks for all the great info on here, Ive learned a lot already!

Hi Michelle! I'm new here as well and share a lot in your learning experience about the DSF and the LE's and such. I never knew that the world of pin trading was this big! I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors!

Welcome to the forum . Are you certain the pin you traded for is a scrapper . I've not seen the exact pin you mention but on one I picked up at DLP a single letter had been damaged but the back pattern was fine . I concluded the previous owner may have damaged it by accident whilst it was on a lanyard . The older pins are sometimes a bit banged up ;-)
Love the idea of collecting horses but I don't think I'd get past Maximus (funniest character I've seen in a while)

Welcome! Unfortunately there's been some drama concerning the main pin databases recently; I'm not too sure as to what is going to happen with either site. But anyhow, hope you enjoy the forums!

yes, I saw the thread..for now since it seems the pinpics (new) is most likely going to be here to stay, I'm putting my stuff in there for now (I'm not loading pictures, but making lists). If something better comes along I'll deal with moving things then....
