I would be supportive of that. I feel the more filters the better and people can choose to use or not use the ones that are helpful to them. But I would take it a step further. What I really want to be able to easily determine (whether as a filter or even preferably just on the main card in my trades view where I can currently see your levels) is the status between Your Pin is at PnP and Shipped. So tell me that it is waiting on authentication of their pin or verification of my pin, etc. I dislike having to click into every trade to see that status whenever I want a status check on how my trades are coming along.

well no matter what they put in place as long as the volume increases at the rate it's going to , processing the pins to be sent back out is going to be a lengthy process. i'm anticipating 15-20 K traded during happy haunts and every getting their pins sometime in March of 2027 unless things change drastically. Not sure how second chance is bogging things down more. At least one of the pins is in house, but how often is the other there?
 
Yes, PnP has a volume issue. No doubt.

Always trying to think of things that might help them and not get bogged down in hypetheticals. Who knows what the future holds.

Happy Haunts is historically the biggest event on the site - add that to the number of those who have joined and how there's some who view this as a competition ( it's only an exhibition please no wagering)

The diifficulty in offering real solutions to help is "knowing how the sausage is made" - why is a questionable pin from April 20th processed before one that arrived on April 6th for example. I think we knew some of the why's and hows it can help to offer suggestions to help the process.

Definitely agree. This thread started by PnP is the perfect place for you to ask your constructive questions. I appreciate PnP for giving us this opportunity.

I will hope any information provided is what you need to support PnP with the improvements they choose to make to their platform.
 
Two thoughts for tweaks on the web site:
1) I don't collect fantasy pins and in order to filter them out I have to click all the other options on the 'rarity' list. Is there a way to have one or two clicks to filter out fantasy pins?
2) During a trade arcade, when we committ a pin listed in our traders to a trade and then ship it in, is there a way to change its status from available to 'traded', while the pin moves through the inspection process at PinandPop?
 
isn't "traded" what gets used when a transaction is complete now?

Thank you for this question. I see my comment was not very clear. Yes the status is 'traded' for internal PnP, but the traded status is invisible to someone looking at your profile. The pin cannot be traded in a TA again, but for traders using PnP to try to set up trades outside a TA, the pins appear as if they are available.

I trade and move pins a lot more than just on TAs. And use all tools available to figure out what pins could be something another pin friend wants.
 
I've added a Traded "stamp" now on the new Collection:Traders view. This will show for any pin that is committed to a trade at Pin & Pop OR if just at Pin & Pop awaiting shipping (so, not yet "in-hand").

pins that are part of the 2nd chance show up with the "TRADED" stamp across the front.
Those aren't technically TRADED should they be showing as such?

Woah, whats wrong with it? I love it personally, makes it super easy to tell at a glance.
 
Some of us have lots of grails listed, even including grails we are iSO for our friends. I think it would be really cool to be able to mark one pin as your ultimate grail. Each person can only have one marked this way at a time. Then have an extra drawing for a prize to anyone who gives an ultimate grail in a TA.
 
I just want to say I am gaining a new appreciation for P&P's search function. The ability to use at least basic search operators (I haven't tried them all but I use "" and - to refine my searches often) is so incredibly helpful. I don't think I realized how helpful until I started searching on PinPics where they don't work... So basically just popping in to say thanks P&P, I sometimes get so caught up in what could be better that I forget to acknowledge how much is already good
 
Agreed. They have great search, especially compared to other sites.

My fault probably as I am not being clear enough...

Just now, I went to see if when I check other matches (on the traders "Public Profile") if any pins showed as matches that were traded and going through the PinandPop process. Clicking on the 27 below, is where I am looking (ie, 27 - their traders matching your ISOs) that I would like to know if something is traded or not:


I don't need this information facing me in my account... I would like the 'traded' to be public facing once the pin is off the market... so other traders (who don't know I traded a certain pin) can know this.

This was at my unclear request... tried to explain better in post 596 above. Agree we don't need to see this twice on the same page.

If a pin is off the market for trading... perhaps it could also just disappear from the pin matches on the public profile (again see post 596 above)?
 
There was a time when PinPics was easier to search.
