I’ve had lots of interest in some of my pins on pinpics.. but does anyone ever feel like people really try to take advantage on trades? I’ve had multiple people offer me pins that are going for 10-15 dollars online in exchange for chasers or LEs I have that have recently sold for 50+. I just find it a bit frustrating because I try to keep everything fair and I’m not incredibly hung up on value, if it’s plus or minus a bit and everyone’s happy that’s all that matters, but offering pins that are common and OE for sought after LEs just seems rude. Then sometimes they act offended if I counter with a trade I find a little more fair.

Apologies, rant over. I was just excited to interact with people on that particular site and a big majority of it has been a flop so far (but the bright side is the couple of trades I did make I felt awesome about!)

Congrats on making some trades! I definitely get seriously lopsided offers there, but I like to chalk it up to a lack of knowledge rather than intentional sharking.

I think that, sometimes, people who are new to trading assume that if you have pins that each other wants, that makes an equal trade. I try to counter lop-sided offers when they have other pins I'm interested in, but there are plenty of times when I just say "no thanks."
