I’ve had lots of interest in some of my pins on pinpics.. but does anyone ever feel like people really try to take advantage on trades? I’ve had multiple people offer me pins that are going for 10-15 dollars online in exchange for chasers or LEs I have that have recently sold for 50+. I just find it a bit frustrating because I try to keep everything fair and I’m not incredibly hung up on value, if it’s plus or minus a bit and everyone’s happy that’s all that matters, but offering pins that are common and OE for sought after LEs just seems rude. Then sometimes they act offended if I counter with a trade I find a little more fair.

Apologies, rant over. I was just excited to interact with people on that particular site and a big majority of it has been a flop so far (but the bright side is the couple of trades I did make I felt awesome about!)

A lot of new people, respond back and let them know that the pin they want is a chaser or an LE. Don't know if you are willing to trade multiple pins for a single pin or not. Sometimes the other person just needs some guidance.

Is your account name the same on PinPics as it is on here? I can see if there's anything to offer you that's fair?

Yes, I also receive more offers that are uneven on Pinpics compared to even trades offers I would move forward with. I put this down to inexperience. But whatever the reason for the uneven offer, I just politely decline the trade.

I also try to remember back when I started trading on Pinpics (~2015), I am pretty sure I sent out those crap offers. I didn't know any better at the time. And... that said, could be I still send out crap offers since my Pinpics offer success rate is pretty low. :)

In general, we all trade differently. This is likely why many trades don't work out. But when you get the match for the trade... its a great feeling.
