With Pinpics going down the drain (I haven’t made a successful trade on there for months), I’ve been relying on Instagram more for trading lately. Let’s use this thread to post IG handles of people you’ve made a successful trade with in the last year. It’s a great way to share references and to connect with active traders outside of Pinpics and Facebook.

That would be correct! We are a small channel and have had great experiences trading with the other folks we’ve marked down. I’d offer up more of our friends but I feel that would be a bit biased since we haven’t traded with some of them yet. I know we’ve done other trades on Instagram but some of them are older than a year. Hope this helps some folks!

Kinda like on here You post pictures of your traders on your page, then a different trader either DMs you or comments on your post to initiate the discussion. Sometimes that other trader posts their “for trade” in their stories or posts or DMs you photos of what they have to offer. And then it’s just a back and fourth to negotiate the trade.
 
Excellent question! I find people to trade with by searching for key words like Disney pins or pin traders. Sometimes people are also recommended/suggested to me from other peoples accounts. Once you find someone who’s a pin trader they will typically have iso images in their stories (which can disappear), in their posts, or archived stories (which I’m still trying to figure out). If you have something they are looking for or collect you send a DM like in PinPics or Facebook. Everything’s smooth sailing from there. If you’d like a trial run without actually committing to a trade feel free to find us on Instagram to practice! (same name over there)
