I got this pin in a trade this past weekend and after I got home, I looked it up on Pinpics and instead of a red gem, there is supposed to be a gold 10th anniversary emblem on the bottom right. On top of that, the card it was on was marked LE 300 and the pin says LE 3000. I am pretty sure this is a fake and I am bummed. The pin was all wrapped in cellophane so I trusted the trader and did not unwrap it. I hate when these things happen. Does anyone own this pin that can confirm that it's a fake?

Could you pst a picture of the back when you get a chance?

There is an ended isting on Ebay from a well known seller who has been a long time collector and his auction also shows the back of the pin. Maybe that would help.

Sorry for your bad experience :(

I might guess, that it's a real pin, but it was damaged. That the emblem came off, and someone put a rhinestone in the hole to conceal the damage.

Sorry to hear about your trade Sue, that is really crappy. I guess on the bright side the pin looks Ok with the red crystal instead of an open hole.
