Got a question for those of you who see current OE pins at parks, etc. more often! A new listing was put on PinPics for the Small World - Repeat, Repeat, Repeat pin. So cute. :) However, there was already a previous listing. On looking, the new one is for a purple toned pin. The folder listing for a sepia toned pin. Now, we bought one of these in January at Disney Springs, and it is more purple. However, I've been looking online and can't find anything about a sepia toned pin. Did the submitter just get confused by the poor picture?

    Older (sepia) listing:

Walt Disney Pins, Trading Disney Pins, Value Of Disney Pins | PinPics

    New (purple) listing:

Walt Disney Pins, Trading Disney Pins, Value Of Disney Pins | PinPics

They are the same pin or they should be because they have the same SKU.

Yeah, Gwen makes a good point about the SKU.

I've never seen or heard of a "sepia" version of this pin ... which raises the question of why people are adding pins to PinPics when their only "source" is a bad Interweb photo.

I thought that about the SKU, too, but wanted to ask, as maybe the SKU was wrong, but the two versions was right! But, if no one else has heard of a sepia version, too . . . then I bet it is just an entry mistake. :) I submitted a comment about the duplicate pin, so hopefully they'll combine them or whatever!

    Thanks for the help!

Because it's a hot mess of a site that hasn't been accurate since they were taken over by the later owners who dumped all of us knowledgeable crowd-sourcers who kept the site accurate and up to date and now it's riddled with errors, duplicates and inaccurate info, along with a huge lack of released pins. I look at it and shake my head at what it used to be in the before times...

Yes . . . but sadly, it is still the best online place to trade and use for listed pins. We list on PTD, too, but nobody answers on there, so it is kind of a waste for trading. Love it for listing your pins in collection/Want/Trade, but I've had practically zilch success with getting people to answer you on there. PinPics takes work, but I get successes!
