Quick signature question

I know there are probably 1,000,000 posts about this. What is the recommended size for signatures? I need to make one for someone else and forget proper sizing.

hi, I do have this other thread where I asked the same question (just a few minutes ago). I need some help om uploading a .gif file I managed to upload it to my own signture with the select document but i only got a still image. It has t be animated so can someone help me with this. I did upload it to photobucket.
