They have a Thomas Kinkade gallery at the mall by my house. For the first time ever, it was completely packed, and people were actually buying. I don't think they have to mark them up at this point... I didn't see a single thing in there for less than $600, with most being well over $1000!
 
Wow, my family always had a calender of his artwork, I can only imagine the prices will be going way up now.
