Hey long time no see for those who remember me 🙂

So I found an effective way to get jump rings onto the pins, and plan to convert a few scrappers into into charms for either necklaces, bracelets, ect

So Im curious if anyone if anyone has a pocketful of scrappers they wouldn't mind sending my way
I don't have a ton of money right now as I used to in my pin buying days (i went a little extreme at the start)
So I can't pay a ton for scrappers, but I can pay for shipping at the very least 🙂

And who is still around that remembers me? :wavey:

I am pretty new so don't remember you, but I do have some scrappers from my "early didn't know better" trading/collecting that I didn't toss and are somewhere around here. I'll go see what I can dig up.

I'm curious, so how are you putting jump rings on? And removing posts so things are not sharp? (some of those scrapper HM's are light enough to be cute earrings)

I don't think Ive been particularly active since I was in college almost around this time last year...
I did do secret santa 2013 though, but since than Ive been caught up with life >.>

I (my dad) have a fairly decent sized drill press. Takes a while but I can get a nice circular hole through the pins (whether or not the pin stays still as the press is going through to keep the hole center is another story, but hey hand made items have that kind of appeal to them)
The stubs I can break off with pliers pretty easily. The knob on them though can also be broken with the same method, or I can even use a filing/sanding bit from a dremel tool to smooth it out. Lost a few scrappers trying to get a nice process down (soldering, glue, ect). This one may take a bit more time to get them looking nice, but the finished result is a lot stronger than glue or solder 🙂
