So I recently paid about $3700 in tuition which comes out of my pocket since I can't get Financial Aid... Anyways, I been spending so much on pins that I've decided to put my PODM's for sale. I'm asking a fairly high price for them mainly because I don't want to sell them and I honestly put them there so my parents/ sig. Other would see I'm making an effort to pull back from this, shall we say pin addiction?... Has anybody ever done that? Use eBay as a way to cope with money you spent even if there's no intent on selling...Something to keep the conscience clean... Although if it does sell $$$$... Lol... Just wondering...
 
I sold on eBay years ago until I realized I was just losing too much money in eBay and paypal fees. :/
 
I actually just did this with a bunch of pins i have. I listed about 50 pin auctions and paid like $30 to list and sold 2 sets for $110 total. the rest ended without bids.
now that they ended i have to pay fees for the ended auctions and paypal. I really dont think it is worth it. If you have a few high priced items you may do better than many lower priced auctions but that was my experience. you have to try but you may not get what you want and be paying in the end.
 

I thought you get a certain amount of listings free per month?

I did that, like I said. I'm doing this for peace of mind and to keep the guilt away. I really hope they don't sell but I promised I'd put them up...lol.. The charge was .50 per BIN listing.
 
On the downside ... if nothing sells, it may just reinforce your folks/sig other's belief that you're crazier than all hell.

I think the best way for you to curtail this pin addiction is to stop bidding against me in auctions!! oke:

Lol... I don't want to sell them just yet which is why they're set up as a set... I shall never back down... You did beat me though!
 
$3700??????? Well since I have two kids(9 & 7), and college is just around the corner, it looks like i no choice..........................................but to tell them to join the military and let them pay college. That leaves more money freed up for pins. HAHA!!!!!
