Aww, so sorry to hear you have to let her go, Jabberwocky! :( Best of luck with your sale and/or hope your financial problems get taken care of. Out of curiosity ("Curiouser and curiouser..."), how big is your Alice collection?

On behalf of all of us, I'd like to thank you for not opening your listing at $10,000. ;-)

I know what my limit is, so ... if she's still available when you get down to about $1.75, you'll be hearing from me, ha ha. (That doesn't include shipping, of course.)

GOOD LUCK!

Hi jabberwocky, where are you located? Would you allow local pickup if possible and do you take PayPal as payment? I can't afford her at the initial asking price but would like to know all the details in case she goes low enough for me to purchase....that's if no one snags her first:)

Do NOT take Paypal payments if there's a local pick up. Never.
I'm sorry, I don't mean to suspect anyone of any foul play, but when I read this thread (beautiful doll, by the way!) I just had to say something.
If you do take Paypal payment and the buyer gets their item from you by meeting you, the buyer can always file a Paypal claim and say they never got their item. And whatever you may do, Paypal will only accept a shipping number which says delivered for you to win. It's really scary, I've seen people getting scammed like this for purses in forums.
So for you both, to be safe, local pick-up should always be cash. If you ship, go ahead and work with Paypal, but if not, then don't take Paypal.
HTH and sorry for hijacking...

Good call

Unless they select payment type as gift, which they should do anyway so that you don't get charged fees... But then they might have to pay fees? Still that's one way to work it out I think.

Good luck on your sale and sorry at the same time <3

As far as I know in this scenario the buyer doesn't have any protection at all (it's a gift after all). So this is not good either.

I have a couple of questions for you. First, I am interested in knowing that you are okay with selling Alice. I would honestly feel terrible if you sold her and it was a big personal loss for you. Please let me know as I would rather not buy under those circumstances. That being said I am very interested in buying her and can provide references to show that I am legitimate. I am rounding up more money in the hope that I can get enough to buy her when she comes down a bit. Please let me know that you are at peace with selling her and I will pm you to see if we can work something out.

So sorry to hear that you have to let her go! I too, have been an Alice fan since I can remember. I still have my costume from WDW from when I was 4! (Over 20 yrs ago) I absolutely LOVE all things Alice and wish I could afford her, but since I cannot, I wish you all the best of luck and hope you can get what you need to for her! :)

Wow, you have /all/ Alice in Wonderland related pins save for those? Or just all the ones you want? I saw a seller on eBay (xxcantbeatitxx) that's selling all her rarer Alice pins and I can't help but think you're so lucky to have all those! (If, indeed, you do own all of them).
