Is it just me or are they really running this Star Tours thing into the ground? The two different versions with nearly the same artwork is getting very frustrating. The only reason I want them is because I collect piece of history pins. This is overkill!!! Anyone else having this problem?



 
Very much so. I collect POH too so this is a pain in the rear end!!!!!

I hate when they do things like this. Why would you make a POH for just cast members?????

The art for the ST POH look to be cut and paste, but take account that they're technically the same type of pin release, whether it's DLR or WDW, and includes the POH from that specific attraction. As for the POH for the CM's, it's a part of the costume that ST CM's wore for the original attraction, you think they'd be entitled to first dibs.

First dibs yes, but then no one can get one outside of them, unless a cast member is willing to trade or sell. :-(
 
Its really frustrating as I accidently bought this one by mistake thinking I was going to finish off my DLR set and that they were 2 different pins. I am still looking for the DLR version
 
I do! I collect POH for just DLR and even three Star Tours POH are overkill! I like the ride but not that much. And maybe I'm just OCD or something but I don't like that there is so many for one ride, it makes my collection seem unbalanced.
 

The top ones are a bit different but th other 2 seem the same. I think I'll just go for the WDW Cast and film pins since I have the top 2
 
I'll be 5 for 6 when Sci-Fi Academy comes along as I won that Star Tours POH pin for DLR as part of my RSP. I'm on a quest now to get the WDW version.
 
So the DLR pin has a strom trooper and the WDW pin has Darth Vader. Why couldn't they just make one universal pin for both of the parks? Haha. That's business...

Especialy with Star Wars. When Celebration 5 was happening, Disney sold exclusive pins and had a party at the Studios for Star Tours. It looked Packed from all the videos I saw on youtube. They milked the money out.
 
Yea! 5 of the 6 pin are in my pin book and I'm waiting for the Sci Fi Academy to pick up my three DLR Star Tours POH pins. I was fortunate to pick up the WDW Star Tours AP pin, the DVC Star Tours pin, and the WDW Star Tours Opening Day pin, and I'll be in the line tomorrow to pick up the DLR Star Tours Opening Day pin and the DLR Star Tours AP pin. Hopefully, the D23 Star Tours pin at the D23 Expo in August will be the last one. Of course, DEC, DSF and WDI could also issue new Star Tours LE pins.
 

Oh, I have the WDW Star Tours AP pin but need the DLR Star Tours one to complete that duo as well.
 
I'm always so tempted to collect Star Wars stuff. I have a few in my collection, but nothing exceptional. I have loved Star Wars since 4th grade, but somehow it didn't translate into pins and I don't know why. Also I do agree that they are over doing it with the POH pins, even though I love the ones they released at DLR.
