So I picked up a new eeyore pin, and the back stamp is something I haven't seen before. It's mickey heads alternated with stars. Has anyone seen this before?

I have not seen it before, but looking at the picture of the back it strikes me as odd. 1) It looks like much of the edge on the back side is raised up (upper left to the left of the pin post, his ear, and lower right at his foot). 2) In my time collecting the only mickey head patterns I have seen are stamped into the metal and not raised up off as are the stars and mickey heads on this pin. It would make me think it is not real, but I am by no means an expert and would love to hear from others that may know more about this.

This may also be a good candidate for the pin comparison section.

I agree with Phoenix, the backstamp pattern should be recessed not raised. Also not sure about what's in the box on the back, it looks like an awful lot of information. I haven't really seen a pin before with that much info in the box. I'm also going to comment on the darkness of the colors because that looks a little weird to me, personally, but it could just be the picture.

I think almost all Winnie the Pooh pins have a blurp about them being based on books.

Not a keychain, person I got it from said possibly a lanyard set, there was a pooh, tigger, eeyore and piglet. All of the characters had butterflies.

Pin doesn't show any scrapper signs, enamel is all level, no scratches, backstamp is even and goes past the edges, everything is spelled correctly and crisp.

I've just never seen the back stamp where mickey heads and stars were alternated.
