Greetings all, and welcome to DPF's Auction House! We have implemented the following general forum rules (don't fret - they're very easy to abide by) in order to help trade auctions run smoothly and efficiently.

Please note, most of these rules were already in effect here:
General Rules

But seems to have been overlooked by the members. So, for the most part, we are repeating these rules. We are also numbering them, rather than having them as bullet points so if members need to be warned about following the rules, we have a rule number to refer them to.

1. You may post your authorized (authentic) Disney pins and items (lithographs, dolls, etc.) for trade auction in this forum. Authorized and authentic Disney pins include those pins that are sold/created by ACME/HotArt, Hot Topic, Hallmark, Jerry Leigh, and other companies to which Disney licenses their characters to.

2. Absolutely no unauthorized pins or items may be offered in a trade auction. This means no scrappers, fantasy pins, or handmade items. Please post those in the "Other For Sale/Trade/Wanted" area of the forum.

3. All items auctioned must be in hand. This means that the auctioneer has to have it in their possession before beginning the auction. Pictures of the front and back of the pin that is being auctioned shall be posted and any flaws must be described. Bidders must have pins they bid in hand and describe any flaws. It is up to the auctioneer to ask for a picture of the pin if they so choose.

4. DPF is not a cash auction site, at this time. No auctions can be posted where a cash winner is accepted. Yes, we see there is an option for the prefix of "cash auction" but until @Cicada says that is now an option (or the mods/admins decide it is), it cannot be used.

5. Members may only have a maximum of two (2) open trade auction threads at a time.

6. A specific end date and time must be predominately displayed in the original post of your thread. This end date and time must be within seven (7) days of the auction start date. This end date and time must be adhered to, as an auction will not be allowed to end early, or be extended (unless the forum is down). Please make sure to specify the time zone.

7. An auction cannot be closed due to unsubstantial bids.

8. All posts and threads in the auction house can not be edited. Be sure to read through your original posts and bids carefully before posting, as the first post is final.

9. The auctioneer recognizes that they are putting an authentic pin or other Disney merchandise up for bid, and they may not necessarily get the offers that they are looking for. While it is encouraged to lead bidders in a direction of style pin (or other Disney merchandise) you are looking for, reserves are prohibited. All items put up for auction must be traded to one of the offers made at the specified end date.

10. All auctions must be available to the entire forum. This means that you cannot preclude (cannot limit) anyone from bidding based upon their location. Obviously, it can be a factor in choosing your leader board, but you cannot say "U.S. bids only" or "international bids only" when auctioning your pin or other authentic Disney item.

11. If the auction item is "other authentic Disney merchandise," then bids cannot be limited to pins only. Bids can be limited to pins only if the item being auctioned is an authentic Disney pin.

12. Please limit bumps to one per day, or a bump may not be needed if the thread is active with offers/inquiries/leaderboards.

13. A leader board should be posted with a maximum number of three (3) bids, even if there is a tie, unless the tie is for third place.

14. A winner should be selected and announced publicly within twenty-four (24) hours of the auction end date.

15. Feedback can, and should, be left appropriately for trades made through this forum.

16. Mods and Admins may, at their discretion, combine, close, or remove any redundant threads/posts by a single member.

17. Please report any premature auctions closures, or auctioneers not properly picking a winner at auction end.

18. All trade auctions are at the risk of the individuals involved. Please be certain that you make safe, intelligent, and secure shipping arrangements. DisneyPinForum.com is not responsible/liable for any pin(s) traded in this forum, the integrity of that product's representation, any trades that go unhonored, or the shipment or transport of any items.

19. DisneyPinForum.com does not promote/endorse any products listed for trade auction in this forum.

20. If you have multiples of the pin that you are auctioning, you must clearly state that in your auction listing if you intend to choose multiple winners. Otherwise, the auctioneer may certainly offer to trade their second (or third) pin to the others who bid in the auction, but those bidders are not required to accept.

21. Failure to follow through with the trade auction will subject the member to consequences, including but not limited to, negative feedback, infractions, and/or bans.

22. These rules are subject to change by DisneyPinForum.com.
