Trading on PinPics and other?

Trading on PinPics and other?
Thanks for the info. Very helpful!

Thank you for sharing your experience. I think I'm convinced to put a little more time into listing traders and ISOs in PinPics and see how it goes.

Thanks for sharing. When people want to trade on Facebook can you send them a link to your traders on pinpics? I will check out your pinpics after I get more of my traders listed. Are you also fuzzybunny on PinPics?
if others from face book want to see my traders they have to sign up, and yes I am fuzzybunny on pinpics as well

Thanks for sharing. Sounds like it is worth me putting a bit more time and effort into PinPics and see how it goes for me.

Back in the day I had a lot of positive experience on PinPics but have not used them much at all in the past couple of years and have been using Pin and Pop instead. I never had a negative experience like you describe and that person just sounds like a jerk that was trying to over-value their pins (not just on pinpics but whatnot). I can't imagine why a "for sale" price would be an appropriate value rather than a sold price, unless possibly if it was an extremely rare pin that never sells and even rarely comes up for sale.

Based on other people's experience, it sounds like it might be time for me to update my PP profile and get active there again. In my spare time. 🙂

Thought I would circle back and give an update. Since I started this thread I've had two successful PinPics trades, and a third is an International trade that will take a bit of time to arrive in the mail. .2 of the 3 trades were initiated by me, and 1 was initiated by the other trader. 8 traders did not respond - so I had 2 successful trades out of 10 requests I initiated. Of these 3 trades, 2 of the trades were 1 loungefly pin for 1 loungefly pin, so it helped each of us get closer to completing sets and had no valuation issues. The international trade I traded two Disney mystery box pins (Pluto's Christmas Tree) for two Japan pins. Also of note is that 2 of the 3 traders are premium members. 2 other traders reached out to me but trades were not made. Pros of this trading this way is the personal interaction with the other traders, and pins arrive quickly. Cons of this trading this way is that it takes a good amount of time/effort to propose trades many of which you will never receive a response to, and the shipping costs. Another con is that when I was looking for trades, the same traders consistently came up for me so the pool of potential traders didn't seem very large, or not as large as I expected. The advice give on this thread to look for feedback/trade activity was great advice as it lets you know who is actively trading and more likely to respond so I've focused on sending requests only to those with recent activity. I will update my pin dashboard so that I can continue to trade but I'm sure that there will only be occasional times that I can put in the effort required to seek out these trades.

I’m thinking the same thing! I’ve also had a few people send trade offers on pinpics recently after nothing for YEARS, so I guess time to update properly 🤩
