WDW Pin Price Banding

Hi Everyone,

I was looking on the web for some kind of pricing chart at WDW but couldn't find an up to date one or a breakdown of what classified a pin under it's price band.

Can anyone with WDW knowledge tell me what the different tiers are; for example Green, Yellow, Blue etc. how much they cost and what makes a pin 'blue' or 'red' etc,

Pin Label Code Legend

Green........$ 6.95
Red........ ..$ 8.95
Blue..........$10.95
Yellow.......$12.95
Pink..........$14.95
Lavender...$16.95

hey james,

ok lets see if this helps,

Normally LEs are in the 12.95 and up, higher the pricer the lower the LE,
Pins 10.95 and under are generally rack pin, some with moving parts or special occasion<winter, holiday, etc>

Thanks TiggerMickey and Lucan that's exactly what I needed. I am trying to budget for my WDW trip in Nov. Sadly it looks like I am going to miss the Movie History release by a couple of days and then I think I'm going to miss the Pin Trading night at the Contemporary by a day before I land! So annoying!

I think Judy's prices are out of date, with the last price increase. I think it's $7.95, $9.95, $10.95, $11.95, $12.95 and $15.95

I think Judy's prices are out of date, with the last price increase. I think it's $7.95, $9.95, $10.95, $11.95, $12.95 and $15.95

The idea behind the color-coding is to allow the parks to change prices across a wide range of products without having to reprice the individual items. So, while the prices Hope lists may be correct today, they could be changed tomorrow, and then back again a day later. I recall that during 2011 there actually was a price decrease on pins, and then the pricing categories went back up again.
