Hello Fellow Pin Traders,

Recently I used the buy now feature to purchase two pins, each from individual auctions posted by the same Seller. Both are Annual Passholder LE "Hanging out" pins that open and shut. As luck would have it, one pin is missing the small magnet and the door won't stay shut, while the other has a bad hinge and won't simply close without manually lining the door up with the back part of the pin. Both pins were listed as NEW pins. I have never purchased new Disney pins with this inferior quality.

I have contacted the Seller but they have not contacted me back. One of the first things I look for in a Seller is their number of sales as well as their feedback. This Seller has over 1,800 sales and a 100% positive sales.

So what should my next step be? Do I pay to return the pins and file with Ebay? How long do I have to do so?

Believe me, I might not be so concerned if they were $5.00 rack pins, but I paid $20.00 each for the two I purchased.

Thanks for any help.

Gary

Give the seller a few days to respond. If no response comes, open a case with ebay.

those pins have had a few problems.

You can open a case on ebay due to item not as described. In this case the seller should reimburse you for the shipping back. Many sellers list a pin as "new" even though the quality of the pin would preclude using that classification for the exact problems your pins have.

I would give them a few days to respond and then open a case for item not as described, as others have said. However, if your seller has 100% positive feedback as you describe, it's likely they will try and sort the problem for you before you leave them any negative feedback. If they don't sort it for you, eBay will be able to do it on your behalf.
