I'm glad I'm not the only one who was thinking this. I did wonder when I first read this post why you had actually written it - I'm afraid that, whatever your intentions, all it sounds like is gloating.
I get that you may just be happy about getting the pin and wanting to share the news, but the way you say the exact amount you won by and ask who you outbid seems really quite mean. There are better ways to phrase it, and share the news. What if it was someone here on the forum, and they had put in their maximum budget, really hoping to get the pin, then they don't win and see this post that basically rubs it in their face that they didn't have the $7.52 more that you had? I'm sure that you're not trying to be mean, but just think of it from the other person's perspective. I've been that person who's been outbid in the last few seconds, and it is really disappointing to see a pin go for a small amount more than I can afford. If I then saw someone posting on the forum about it I'd feel pretty hurt by it.
Plus, as moodhunhe said, I'm not quite sure what the PTNs have to do with it - it just adds to the feeling of boasting. As I said, I'm sure you don't mean to be causing anyone any upset, and perhaps you didn't realise that the wording could be construed as boastful. I would suggest you follow LumpyLover's advice and either edit your post or ask for the thread to be closed before you get responses from people who might be a little less understanding and a little more vocal than us three!
