Once again, I'm overdue for a thanks.

The lovely Sarah (@chubs191) has been carrying on a little zap tradition with me for some time now, and she sent me some AWESOME goodies for my DCP!



In the magic parcel was a hat from the Love is an Adventure event last fall (to go with my hat!), a beautiful card (we will chill when I finally get down to Orlando), and some awesome decorations for my dorm! (In case you haven't been able to tell already, I really like birds. And these wood engravings plus the Mickey-framed stamps are going to go great with my little theme for my apartment!)

Thank you so much Sarah. I look forward to the next round.
 
OH! I forgot to say, if you're ever in Washington DC, be sure to check out the post office museum! We're all level 9000 susceptible to collecting and pouring through all the stamps to find ones that fit my interests was the most fun two hours I never thought I wood have.
 

I've been hoarding these Harry Potter stamps for awhile now, and I don't think that anything can top that - but it's something I'll have to see!

Sad...would have been happy to tour them around all sorts of sites that beg for collectors of this and that....the Post Office Museum (across the street from Union Station) is a great place to hang out - and, yes, they do have philatelists there, most of whom collect....

@Purplemandms and I have a standing plan to meet at the National Gallery of Art to compare some of the Masterpiece pins to their originals.....for those who are lost, we'll just point them to the Art History thread.....
 
We'll have to hang out the next time I go up!

I got to go up for the sakura and a concert for my birthday this year. It was cut short tho by my job, so I was only able see 2/3 of the people I was supposed to... I want to go back next year for the Japanese street festival (well every year, because sakura are so beautiful).
