Is it possible to switch my choice to the square?

I bid for the Blue rectangle:

Pin 90441: Piece of Disney Movies - The Lion King
Pin 90960: WDW - Attraction Posters - Mickey's Philarmagic

and
Adding:

Pin 91108: DSF - Summer 2012 - Stitch

I know that you're making your calculations and such but can we at least know what the pins are? Or even what the clues were? Even if I don't win I'm so dying to know if I was right about what pins you were offering.

vixy, if you are around can you post the clues?

Thanks

Oh I'm sorry, I was out for gelato. ALLLL the clues then? Here they are if people want them... :)

Auction #1
It's time to sea [edit from Vixy: I'm assuming this "typo" was a ref to pin #1 though Daren didn't put it in this list] how much chaos I can create, and since ghosts (reference to pin #2) are the master of chaos I'm starting things off with a little guest from Paris (reference to pin #3).

I do not care what pins are bid so don't spend too much time looking over my wants list. I have a very small list of wants, and the reason for that is because when you live 793 (might have something to do with a pin) miles away from Disneyland, it is pretty expensive and difficult to keep up pin trading online.

Auction #2
So the ghost didn't stir up as much chaos as I hoped so it looks like he may need some additional help, but can only two be enough? (reference to pin #2) Maybe not, but there is always the neighbor upstairs that is always willing to share a meal.(reference to pin #3. To figure this one out you would have had to look at my trades list. It is a pin "upstairs" or before the Lady and Tramp PODM pin on my list)

Auction #3 Classic D monorail
I have been collection train pins for 10 years and just came to the realization that the Monorail is technically a train with 3 cars, and I don't have any monorail pins in my collection. However, I don't have any plans to start as you can see, my train board is almost full. (You'll have to check out the picture of my train pin board I just posted next to my pirate one in my album.) Clue: This has a couple of meanings. The three cars refer the idea of three pins in the auction, but pin #2 is a three pin set and if you look at the picture of my train board there are three pins that are not "trains" on it, and like the monorail, they have to be connected to form a complete pin.

A blonde walks into Trader Sam's and sits down at the bar next to a fish in a wedding dress (pin #1) and three friends dearly departed (pin #2). The bartender looks up and says, "I'm sorry, but we don't serve your kind." With a broken heart she heads down to the local beauty parlor where she cuts her hair and dyes it brown (pin #3). She returns to the bar and says to the bar tender, "There, does that solve the problem?" He looks up and with a bewildered look replies, "I was talking to the pirate that was standing behind you." (ME!)

Auction #4
The past two winners won the 110th Legacy Rapunzel and Rapunzel PODM. I believe there is a quote that goes something like this, "The best things in life comes in threes, like friends, dreams and memories." However, sometimes you must be patient and wait until the end. (Keeping in line with the #3 concept and referring to pin #3)

For this auction I have three different redheads listed. Whether they are the most popular red head is up for debate (referring to pin #1), but you get to choose only one. Place your bid, and in your bid be sure to indicate the one you want.

I might have to flip a coin on this one. Hmm...that won't work. A coin only has a front and a back, kind of like a spinner. I guess somebody could choose the edge. (pin #1)

Auction #5
The bonus pins are in order for a reason

Auction #6
Both the colors and shapes have meaning for all three pins

I also don't know if it matters what pin you bid on, well to you it might, but he's going to choose the best bid regardless of which pin you want, what you bid for only determines what pin he'll be trading. At least that's how I interpret it, but maybe I'm wrong, maybe he will be accepting 3 bids and trading all 3 pins.

Here is his quote on the subject

For the leaderboard I am going to amend things a bit as I do have different expectations for each of the pins up for auction thus making it harder to judge a winner. It's one of the side of effects of trying something different. I will break down the leader for each of the pins involved and of the three leaders I will then make my final decision. Hopefully this will help each one of you place your bid so you can better judge how you are placing against people bidding on the same pin as you are. Your only goal, then, will to be #1 on the pin you are bidding on.

I take it to mean he is going to take the leading bid for each of the 3 pins and decide what is the best offer compared to the pin being bid on if that makes any sense.

Sorry guys, I just got back. Now I need to figure out what to do. Mahrii and docfish2u you can switch to the red square, but rubyslipperedgoddess said it best, "I also don't know if it matters what pin you bid on, well to you it might, but he's going to choose the best bid regardless of which pin you want, what you bid for only determines what pin he'll be trading"

I guess I could really cause chaos and do a three pin trade... insert <evil laughter>

So for those that have been waiting, <insert jeopardy music> here are the pins. Did you figure them out?

Square

Rectangle

I shouldn't actually get a vote, since I didn't bid, but I think it should be chaos too. The bidders certainly earned it. :)

They can change their bids, doesn't affect me either way. As for chaos, which I take to mean that you would then trade all 3 pin choices, I say do what's best for you. If you think that the offers you got for each pin are more beneficial than keeping the pin than do that, if they're not better than the pin(s) you're offering than don't trade. I'm always in favor for what is best for the auctioneer.

When you make your decision, could you please announce what the winning bidder bid and what pin they won? Sometimes it gets really confusing as to who bid what, so I'd like to know what/who I lost to. :D

Doc and pirate... Sorry for snooping... I wish o had bid on these. Of looksoke so much fun! Thank-you for making things and keeping them so exciting!

After some consideration, here is where I stand. It was never stated in my auction rules that switching bids or the pin being bid on was prohibited. In fact, I believe changing the pin you were bidding on as much a strategy as adding or changing the items you were bidding. Due to the unexpected circumstances of the evening (something to do with an awesome free concert) I was not able to clarify David's question prior to the end of the auction. As the answer would have been yes anyway had I been able to respond, I am going to allow the change.

Now, with that matter settled, do I go with Chaos?

Of course, that was always the plan. I did say at the begining of the first auction that the plan was to create chaos, and like everything else I have posted this week there has been a double meaning. Of course, things played out a bit differently than I originally planned, but when you try something new there is always fine tuning involved.

So here is the leaderboard as it stands

The square winner is docfush2u

The rectangle is a tie between pinewbie and mahrii at the moment.

The circle is, well, this is going to take a bit more time. Right now I have a four way tie.

If any of you have any questions or concerns, feel free to PM me.

Hi Catz, how are you snooping? it is an open auction so everybody gets to look if not bid.
