Disneyshopping.com Serial number stamped on the back of pins?

Hey guys,
I was just putting my Stitch Midsummers Nap pin up on the board when I noticed something REALLY strange:

I have never seen this. I got the pin after it showed up last week during the golden oldies reappearance lol Maybe someone returned it? Who knows. My question though: has anyone ever gotten a pin with a stamp like that on the back? It's the same serial number found on the backard card.

I have several pins with a serial number on the back. No big deal.

Knowing cast members as DSF, I have information that Disney uses 3 different pin factories. The newest contract does the seriel number and when they supple the back stamp, the design does not go off the edge and has a boarder around the edge of the pin. At that particular factory 3 upper management have been fired from the last conversation.

True no biggie really as most of the pins i bought from 2010 had that and one from 2009 too.

Some DS.com pins I have do and some don't. Definitely normal though.
