Hey guys!

I bought a lot of pins before I joined this forum without any knowledge that some are fakes. Blissfully unaware! Now in terms of my own collection (Lion King), the possibility of scrappers doesn't bother me. I know I will not be trading or selling these pins on so no worries there. But I did also buy a single lonely Frozen pin, because I like the movie and I thought it was cute!

After I joined here, I went back to inspect all my pins for the usual signs. It turns out I do have some scrappers, some that seem fine, and some I am just not sure about. This is one of the not sures!

It has a black numerical stamp on the back that none of my other pins have, I wondered what on earth it might be? Is this something the seller has stamped on? Or is this pin a fake?

Appreciate your thoughts and knowledge! : )

Just posting links because the images are huge and I can't figure out how to resize!

Lots of pins have a number like that on them - some stamped in ink, some as part of the metal (like the rest of the backstamp).

Number is unique to that pin, so all snowflakes would have that (if they have one, I assume older ones/future manufacturing runs may or may not have the number on it, depending upon how disney wanted it done, but if they do, it would be that number). Cards often have the same number on them.

My snowflake is just like yours, and it was new on card when I got it.

Mine is on card too, just took it off for these pictures :- ) Thanks so much for the response! I am new to this sort of thing so wasn't sure what it meant! Looks like there's no need to worry :- )
