LORCANA Lorcana

I am avoiding Lorcana as a whole because I CANNOT have another thing I get sucked into. I can't speak to the gameplay but the art on the cards is gorgeous. It will be interesting to see if this game has staying power like Magic/Pokemon TCG or if it's hot now and then fizzles out once it gets "too big" like a lot of other Disney collectibles ventures lately.

I got my husband a bunch of the second set for Christmas. We are missing 10 cards from First Chapter and 7 from Floodborn to have minimum one of every card. There’s a bunch we need more of to have full set of foils or full non-foil play set, but I think getting there would be way too expensive.

I have a bunch of the first and second set. I'm casually working on a non-foil master set for each chapter, not worrying about enchanteds. I think the gameplay is really solid. It's like a more accessible Magic borrowing ideas and style from Villainous and the Pokemon TCG. I'm looking forward to seeing the organized play scene evolve as Ravensburger claims they have plans for because I think the success of that will determine the game's staying power.
