I always wondered where they come from? Are they just created on say DPP sequentially as new pins are released? Or is the number some where on the pin/card that Ive missed this whole time? LOL
 
theyre arbitrary to the pin. I believe they are just released sequentially, but they have no correlation to the actual pins.
