yesterday I got a package with several pins and they all wreak of smoke. It's really bad! Anyway to get rid of the smoke smell quick? or will it disappear in time?
 
Try spritzing them with febreeze let it set until almost dry and then wipe with a soft towel,or if you have a BOUNCE or a fabric softner sheet..wrap them in that in a plastic sandwich bag,I usually get a couple pkgs
like that..in the summer if I get a pkg that way I put them on a towel and stick it in a open window..

Yuck. I hate that. I have found that the smell is usually attached to the packing more than anything. I can't imagine that metal would hang onto it for too long. I'd just try wiping them down.
