My wife is a teacher in elementary school and everyday she picks out a different pin from our collection to wear on her lanyard.

The kids look forward everyday to see which one she is wearing and now they want their own pins!

Here is today’s pins! Had to do two because it is Chip n Dale!

I love this! I wear my work badge on a bolo lanyard. And I read to a kindergartner once a week and the kids always talk to me about it. I love the extra chance at sparking conversations!!! Children are incredible and their imaginations are so much fun!
 
I did the same thing when I taught. You would think middle schoolers could care less about them but I had some kids who made it a mission to see what pin I was wearing every day.

My oldest son's high school science teacher did this as well.
 
Wow I love that!! I have a bunch of pins on my cube at work but I have them hidden a bit so people don't get any ideas of snagging them!
 
That is such a sweet idea and what a way to connect with the kids. It’s the teachers that make a special effort that are always remembered with the fondest of memories ;)
